Spanning Tree Protocol
Spanning Tree Protocol disingkat menjadi STP, Merupakan bagian dari standard IEEE 802.1 untuk kontrol media akses. Berfungsi sebagai protocol untuk pengaturan koneksi dengan menggunakan algoritma spanning tree.
Cara Kerja Spanning Tree
STP menggunakan 3 kriteria untuk meletakkan port pada status forwarding :
1.STP memilih root switch. STP menempatkan semua port aktif pada root switch dalam status Forwarding
2.Semua switch non-root menentukan salah satu port-nya sebagai port yang memiliki ongkos (cost) paling kecil untuk mencapai root switch. Port tersebut yang kemudian disebut sebagai root port (RP) switch tersebut akan ditempatkan pada status forwarding oleh STP.
3.Dalam satu segment Ethernet yang sama mungkin saja ter-attach lebih dari satu switch. Diantara switch-switch tersebut, switch dengan cost paling sedikit untuk mencapai root switch disebut designated bridge, port milik designated bridge yang terhubung dengan segment tadi dinamakan designated port (DP). Designated port juga berada dalam status forwarding.
FUNGSI STP
STP mencegah terjadinya looping dengan menempatkan setiap port switch pada salah satu status : Forwarding atau Blocking. Interface dengan status forwarding bertingkah normal, mem-forward dan menerima frame, sedangkan interface dengan status blocking tidak memproses frame apapun kecuali pesan-pesan STP. Semua port yang berada dalam status forwarding disebut berada pada jalur spanning tree(topology STP), sekumpulan port-port forwarding membentuk jalur tunggal dimana frame ditransfer antar-segment.
Kelebihan STP dapat menyediakan system jalur backup & juga mencegah loop yang tidak diinginkan pada jaringan yang memiliki beberapa jalur menuju ke satu tujuan dari satu host.
SPANNING TREE PROTOCOL (STP)
Tugas utama STP adalah menghentikan terjadinya loop-loop network pada network layer 2 (bridge atau switch), STP secara terus menerus memonitor network untuk menemukan semua link, memastikan bahwa tidak ada loop yang terjadi. Dengan cara mematikan semua link yang redundant. STP menggunakan algoritma yang di sebut spanning-tree algorithm (STA) untuk menciptakan sebuah topology database, kemudian mencari dan menghancurkan link-link redundant. Dengan menjalankan STP, frame-frame hanya akan di teruskan pada link-link utama yang di pilih oleh STP.

Kata-kata yang membuat kita jadi semangat
Kata-kata yang membuat kita jadi tambah semangat baik dalam belajar maupun dalam aktifitas lain selain belajar. Kata – kata tersebut juga daat disusun menjadi kalimat. Kata – kata itu digolongkan menjadi dua yaitu :
1.kata bijak
kata bija adalah kata yang timbul / muncul karena dukunngan, pujian, sanjungan dan yang lainnya dengan alasan yang positif.
2.kata non bijak
kata non bijak adalah kata yang dilontarkan oleh seseorang kepada kita baik dalam ejekan ataupun perkataan yang kurang enak di hati kita. Misalnya kita mengerjakan PR salah padahal soal yang buat PR tersebut adalah soal yang tergolong sangat mudah. Nah karena kita tidak pernah belajar maka kita tidak bisa mengerjakan dan oleh guru ( kalau mendapatkan guru yang galak ) kita dikatakan “gobloklah, yang inilah, yang itulah dan kita mau minta teman untuk mengajari kita, malah kita diejek “cuma kayak gitu kok gak bisa”.
Kalau kita sadar kita tentunya tidak akan marah, karena kita memang tidak bisa. Nah karena ada kata – kata “tidak bisa” maka kita juga akan sulit untuk menerima pelajaran. Kalau memang idak bisa jangan katakan tidak bisa melainkan “belum bisa” dengan begitu kita akan berusaha untuk mendengarkan / memerhatikan guru yang bersangkutan. Atau tidak hanya guru tapi bisa pada teman. Dan selanjutnya kalu kita betul-betul mengerti keadaan kita kalau kita tidak bisa bukan karena kita / otak kita yang gak support pada pelajaran tersebut, tapi kita tidak bisa karena kita sendiri yang males buka buku untuk belajar. Malah kita hanya buka hape untuk sms-an buat pacar. Apa arti sebuah pacar kalau pelajaran kita tidak jegos ( tidak bisa ). Mending kita tidak punya pacar tapi pelajaran OKE. +_+

Selanjutnya kita bahas tentang beberapa kata. Dalam kehidupan ini kita hanya bisa menikmati gemerlap hidup satu kali. Kalau kita sudah waktunya dipanggil oleh Tuhan YME kita tidak bisa menawarnya walaupun satu detik pun. Ada pertanyaan bahwa kita hidup untuk apa? Untuk cari pacar atau untuk bersenang -senang? Ada pilihan “hidup untuk makan atau makan untuk hidup” nah kalau kita hidup untuk makan maka kita hanya bisa makan ya sudah makan aja. Kalau makan untuk hidup maka kita akan berpikir dua kali. Yang pertama makan untuk hidup, yang mau dimakan apa? Selanjutnya kita akan berpikir, “yang mau kita makan nasi” nah disitu akan berpikir lagi “nasi dari mana ya?” berpikir lagi “dari warung ( beli ), tapi beli pakai apa?” terus – menerus kita akan berpikir sampai akhirnya kita menemukan jawaban “beli nasi pakai uang, uang bisa kita dapatkan kalau kita bekerja” akan tetapi sampai disini timbul satu permasalahan lagi yaitu bekerja “bekerja darimana orang tida bisa apa – apa, kemampuan pas – pasan, otak juga pas – pasan”. Nah disini akhirnya ketemu jawabannya yaitu sekarang kita harus belajar. Dan jangan menunda waktu karena kalau itu terjadi bisa berakibat kita jadi sering menunda – nunda waktu.
Kata guru “hari ini harus lebih baik dari hari kemarin” yang artinya hari ini lebih baik dari kemarin baik dalam tingkah laku, dalam belajar, dalam apapun itu yang penting lebih baik dari kemarin. Ada pepatah “kemarin adalah kenangan, hari ini adalah jawaban, dan besok adalah misteri.

SMKSYUBBANUL WATHON PROFILE
SMK Syubbanul Wathon represent one of SMK residing in Tegalrejo,Magelang precisely in jl. Kyai Abdan ( area of GOR Bhumi Manunggal), Tegalrejo. SMK being based on Technology and information also this Maisonette Pesantren have a purpose to educate its student exeed in the field of Technologi of Information and akhaqul Karimah.
A. Study System
Study system in SMK Syubbanul Wathon is use the different curriculum with the other school because this smk besides using curriculum from DIKNAS ( Pendidikan Nasional/ National Education) also adopt some of curriculum from Maisonette Pesantren. Student of besides educated by instructor from Maisonette of Pesantren of API in Tegalrejo Magelang. This SMK also claim the student to master the lesson IT (Informaton Technologi) and able to make balance to [it] religion area and also able to besaing [in] world work.

SMK Syubbanul Wathon is first time founded by team five which have member : H.A ' Izzudien Lc, Eko Purwanto, Fatkhurrohman SPD, Umi Hidayah Spd, and Zitro Atraytanto. This SMK reside in below / under wings of institution of Syubbanul Wathon led by Gus Yusuf Ch. Later;Then, the institution trust H. A ' Izzudien Lc as head master of SMK Syubbanul Wathon ably he have after graduating from Al-Azhar, Kairo, Egypt. In this SMK, there is also manager which at one blow counsellor and there is also taking hold of to become the just just counsellor. While intention from manager and counsellor that is : manager is one who manage everything which deal with school, for example proposal. While counsellor is one who undertake to give the science to student as according to its membership of each.

The good folks over at ASUS have sent over the P5E3 Deluxe, which is based upon Intel's new X38 Chipset and continues in the usual ASUS fashion of pushing new (and often unexpected) innovations onto the motherboard. Without spoiling the review of this motherboard that will be published shortly, the ASUS P5E3 Deluxe is one of the most innovative motherboards we have seen to date and it packs one very exciting and unusual feature. Embedded onto the P5E3 Deluxe is a Linux environment that features a Firefox-rebranded web browser and the Skype VoIP client! Within five seconds of turning on this $360 USD gaming/enthusiast motherboard, you can be using Linux and surfing the Internet. On this motherboard the feature is known as ASUS Express Gate, which is powered by something called SplashTop. SplashTop is an instant-on Linux desktop being created by DeviceVM. SplashTop isn't even launching for a few more days (October 10), but in this article we have more details on this embedded Linux environment as well as screenshots and our thoughts with what will hopefully come next for this Linux environment.
